Five reasons to love Ramsgate
I'm Max, a local filmmaker. I applied for Ramsgate's 'Pride in Place' grant to create films about five 'local heroes' who are making our town better. After receiving an amazing 188 recommendations from locals on Facebook, I started each interview with one question: 'Why Ramsgate?'. These five films showcase the best of our community and aim to foster local pride. I hope you enjoy them. Watch here:

Aimée - A volunteer at Ellington Park
Carson - Community artist and co-organiser of Happy Mondays, a local charity
Thomas - A local business owner keeping the town happily fed
Brian - An 89 year old volunteer at Ramsgate Tunnels
Teresa - Artistic director of Great British Carnival, a community arts organisation that organises many parades and drumming workshops
